Entity 1, canonically, is unknown. That's why Enigmatic Entities exist. It's like SCP-001 in a sense. Anyone can propose what it might be, and anyone can have their headcanon on what it is.

That makes sense. But if Entity 1 is (kind of) enigmatic levels, then why isn't there a link to the Enigmatic as Entity 1.
As a headcanon, I like to imagine Entity 1 is the entity from the Backrooms Found Footage video Kane Pixels did.

Hmmm, I strongly disagree with entity 1 being the entity from Kane Pixels. I don't really like the lore behind those videos and the fact that it kinda clashes with the lore on this website. Plus, the entity isn't really that special and I don't think it deserves the grand name of entity 1. If I could imagine what entity 1 would be, I would imagine it as the creator of both the backrooms, frontrooms and all of reality or something. Another thing that would be cool is if entity 1 was the backrooms itself, or something revolutionary like that. I think entity 1 should be something truly special.

Ok, I took a look at the Level list. There are Enigmatic Levels, but there's a Level 1 AND a Level 0. So how do you explain that?
Probably because it’s wrong to have the literal thing that created the Backrooms battle others for the first spot.
In fact, many consider the first level to be the Backrooms itself.

There is entity 1, its in the enigmatic entities page, and for some reason, entity 1 is humans, u can clearly see "entity number: 1" at the top of the humans page, but again idk
I have a plan for that ;3

Then in 2021, it was just a list of proposed candidates for said entity.

Technically entity 1 was us, but it was most likely removed to either connect the backrooms wiki to the scp one more or it would just not make much sense for an invasive force to be entity 1

If Entity 1 is like SCP-001, then that can explain why there are Enigmatic Entities. The connections of Level 0 and a strange sub/enigmatic/normal level in Kane Pixels' video was actually quite intriguing, though I can't explain why there are enigmatic levels. Kinda like Entity 1 is classified information or something so dangerous that once reading it, it will cause the Backrooms to fuse with reality or something. It's just my theory.

I headcanon that entity 1 is the backrooms itself. these levels while not "alive" in the way other entities are, have some sort of power inside them, a beating heart wedged deep in the core of it all. this also relates to my theory that the backrooms are their own creator and master, rather than a labyrinth created by some all-powerful being

There is technically an entity 1, or it might be a mistake or whatever idk, but in the Humans article(which is in the enigmatic entity section btw, no idea why or how it works)humans are referred to as entity 1.
They removed the link between Entity 1 and that article, probably because:
1 - It makes no sense to have us there, as an invasive force
2 - They wanted to mimic SCP-001, where it's not anything specific and anyone can submit their own canon
3 - It sounds stupid

Well, another thing is, is that humans aren't that big In the grand scheme of things because there are so many other entities that more powerful. Plus, we don't originate from the backrooms. Many people would also dislike having named as a entity, especially the first entity because we like, as humans, to view ourselves as higher than other beastly creatures, and don't want to be named as one. Humans also aren't the most powerful or the 'first' creature to appear in the Backrooms.
And yes I know this thread is dead, I just felt like throwing in my two cents.
