I’m very sorry, but this was a confusing read for me. It took me multiple read-throughs to understand that Ophelia was a MEG Operative, and Rizal was some kind of double agent in the AI. I understand that it would make sense in-universe that the people reading this article already know the identity and background of the people mentioned in the article. But as a reader, this was not apparent to me at all :(
O.T.Robinson: …At this point, there was a delay with assistance with the other M.E.G teams.
E.Makaraig: Yeah, some Life Line staff got temporarily transferred here. Alright, how did you come in contact with Mx. Rizal? Assuming the difficult process of Amor Incrementum members contacting other groups, I'd imagine it was difficult.
The clumsy SPaG (bolded) made me confused as to what the 'assistance' was about (guarding the research? I think? And it has to do with the Life Line staff transfer?) and the 'difficult process' bit is also poorly worded, so it took me a while to realize this referred to Rizal… I think.
To be honest… I don't know the extent of control Hyde had over Rizal's actions but it was apparent to me that there was tension. I know her motivations, which you soon will probably know if you talk to Maya, but between him and Hyde, I know nothing.
Bruh who are Hyde and Maya??? I assume they’re both AI members? Or at least Hyde? This isn’t really explained, and I found it very confusing when names just started getting thrown in.
Some context (maybe more complete profiles of Ophelia, Rizal and involved parties) before the interview might have really helped, as well as explaining what exactly happened in the attacks.
Sorry for the downvote. Might change it if I get more context in future AI posts.
Same as Kai, I may change my vote if I end up getting more context but as of right now my vote is downvote
So my main issue with this was lack of context. I’ve found a good easy way to include context without a long flow breaking description is to just link the page that explains them. For Hyde and Maya, you could’ve linked whatever page gives them context and like who they are, so if I wanted to understand the context, I could. However, I didn’t see any of that here. Despite having read up some on the amor incrementum stuff, I still don’t really have that good of an idea who these people are. Overall, it is also very vague with the explanations. In the interview, Robinson is supposed to detail the attacks, correct? From what I read, the attacks were barely described, and instead, they just dodge the question. Elijah specifically asks, “can you describe the attacks” and their answer is “I don’t really know that much, here’s my guess.”. If they didn’t know then why were they chosen to be interviewed? It also references “Incident Omega-3-2022” without giving any context of where or what that is. I feel like this article focused more on expanding on Elijah as a character than the group this article is about. I did like the detailing on the formatting, tone, and view of the article. It’s the content that I wish could’ve used more care.
I have decided to go to all goicon pages and give a binary choice of upvote or downvote. Due to the reasons above, I will be respectfully downvoting.
Old, outdated, and generally uninteresting work. No clue what the situation here is because you give like, barely a drop of context.
