I really like this post, but something bothers me. How exactly does the M.E.G know the stomkin substance is an acid and not a random corrosive compound or even a base? They have no way of knowing what it is without knowing the molecule.
According to chemistry, An acid is any substance that in water solution tastes sour, reacts with some metals to liberate hydrogen, reacts with bases to form salts, and promotes chemical reactions (acid catalysis).
