Wow! This is the most coding I've done for an article since Level 203. Ironic considering it's a Minimalism Contest entry. It comes in at only 41 words and 197 lines of code! (not including the custom theme I made for it) Below, I've included the transcript that I used for word counting.
So, sense the entity exist, who says shut up? The entity? Or something that’s hidden in it?
I'm so sorry, but I can't understand what this article is trying to say
Maybe I'm more rigid ಠ_ರೃ
once the initial novelty wore off, this felt rather bare bones to me. regardless, having me physically in awe in the middle of class was enough for me to upvote. i enjoy this kind of stuff and hope to see more.
as an aside, there are a few topbar issues with the coding. the topbar still shows if i hover in the right spot.
~~~🐜Ant boi baby🐜~~~
Thanks!
And yeah, the topbar stuff is intentional because I didn't want to break the functionality of the page too much.
entity 100 but better
nah but this is just super good
Why is there a file here if there isnt any entity?
Should probably actually put something here ngl
why did u just say it doesnt exist instead of actually making an entity
Well, that’s the “mystery” part of the article. If you wait a little bit before going into the discussion, the text will change, going to “stop. please. it hurts. just let me go”
Basically, this article is showing either the entity or the person’s suffering. Who? You don’t know.
Well for me to actually care for the "mystery", you need to put more than generic "X stuck in a computer" lines, and to write more than 20 words, especially when like 25% of them are the same word. I would appreciate if there was an image or more dialogue or a reference to anything in the lore but there's nothing, if it wasn't on the wiki, I wouldn't even know it's related to the Backrooms, honestly I wouldn't think it's related to anything really. It's just kind of a novel thing that once it wears off, you're stuck there with those 36 words that in the end don't mean anything
There may be some deeper meaning behind it, but to me it's a just a stereotypical horror story for an entity that doesn't appear in any level. I have to leave a downvote.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
don't know if this came before or after this was made but it does appear in other articles (or at least 1) http://backrooms-wiki.wikidot.com/insulation this one at least
Yea. Does The Insulation and this page have any relation? Anything about The Crawlspace Creature here? Or was it just Coincidence?
I believe you guys found an old link. Tell the author or staff about it.
Also, the entity is a mystery, as I said above. You don’t know who’s suffering beyond the screen. I love me a good mystery.
The words is on the lines are identifiable since these words on the lines changes less, is entity 56 saying those, or someone else? Eh do anyone have any idea? My idea is that is someone attacked by entity 56 and entity 56 is telling the guy to shut up?
Or is it the reverse that entity 56 is the one being controlled by other groups?
This level is effectively a css trick and not much more. Sure, the coding is good. And yes, this was a mincon article. But I still don't really like it because it lacks substance. This kinda stuff is why I think mincon was a bad idea. It's got good coding and good writing but it's so short that even with that I can't bring myself to enjoy the article
Edit: yeah idk what I was on when I wrote this this article is awesome. Nice simple and effective at what it does. Really fun css trick as well
