I thought it´d be a simple OP entity that helps the wanderers but I wasn´t expecting that twist. However I won´t update it because I feel this could be something more complex.

Just a mobile lamp? Curious. Do they come in multiple sizes? Do they die if the bulb burns out? How noisy are they when they hop around (Cause it it just goes THUNK-THUNK-THUNK all the time it may not be very stealthy)

That isn't the right word to use. You may have intended "(…) about this issue have been ignored" or the typical "The M.E.G. has been unable to reach Backrooms Robotics for comment"
