there's multiple problems with this article. first being that sanityhub should be removed as of sanity no longer being an element on the wiki, second being that the goodbye message makes no sense, as it is not possible to contact people in the frontrooms from the backrooms.

I’m absolutely fine with WiFi as a concept but it feels a bit shoehorned in. There’s little explanation for it or any clear mechanics of how it works, which I’d expect groups to study. I’d just like to see it expanded as a whole.

At first, I thought it was irrelevant to have Wi-fi as an object. Reading through the object made me appreciate the idea of explaining how it actually works in The Backrooms. Reviewing the other discussion post, I do agree that it could be expanded, but I enjoy it as it is.

I absolutely despise the ability or even possibility that you can connect to the outside world. To me this place should be completely isolated. Having the slim chance to communicate to your loved ones ruins this for me. -1

I prefer to imagine the connection to the frontrooms is possible so backrooms has access to the latest tech and scientific discoveries.
I understand why contacting your loved ones is problematic yet I'd rather patch this problem than to renounce the connection.
Also I like the explanation that this wiki is meg's database

That is incorrect. It derivates from "Hi-Fi", a term used to describe High Fidelity audio equipment; the term in itself is merely a marketing scheme, much like USB 3.2 Gen 1 just meaning USB 3.0.
