I like this one a lot. One small detail I think is cool is how “crawler” is a generic term used for any infected species.

I don’t understand why “look for a cure” is explicitly in the do not section. How can we be sure there is no cure when so little is known?

I also think some expansion would be interesting, since a fungus that turns living beings into raving zombies isn’t a novel idea. The heat control idea is pretty cool :)
