Hey guys! This is quite an ambitious project for one guy, so excuse the issues. Don't be silent about them, though. Tell me in this thread!
We really need to try and rally the community around this project if we want it to survive. This may include setting a date in which we make the current wikipedia obsolete (as in, locking it so no more content can be made), and aggressively try and force traffic here. We also need to get any online communities involved, such as the active subreddits- once this site is of a reasonable standard, perhaps we should ask for a side-bar link or some form of endorsement?
Yes I've got something going with r/backrooms which will be up Friday.
But with locking the fandom wiki… I don't know, maybe a little too far. But that begs the question as I'm writing, why not? I suppose there's no use for it except to be a playground for those too young or unwilling to be part of this community. At that point, why save it any traffic?
Oof kinda a 180 but I don't have much time right now

I have a question that I may need a more accurate answer to: I have a level that is very detailed, is very original, and has potential. Why do people still downvote certain levels even though they are actually very good in general? I need information about this, even though I have read the requirements for the levels, I am still confused on why some levels make it that are not so great even though some great levels don't make it all the way and either get underrated to 0 or -1 and lower. I will need a response. I know this may be annoying for you and clogs up messages, but I may just need an answer.
Well, you see, not trying to be mean. Your previous Levels were not that great in writing and quality. But it seems to me that this new Level you created is pretty well done. Keep this up, and you will no longer have this issue .
Seconded. This is a fair entry.
hi uh I've been using this forum for about a year or so now and I just wanted to know if you have to read the quantum fluctuant levels in order because I never have [sorry if this is a really dumb question]

welcome to the backrooms, nice to have you here.
You don't have to actually read through them in order, read as you please!

I was recently thinking of making a new level, but i decided i should have a few things added so i can get some variables before writing instead of being on the spot, so i thought i'd share it (if using this way i suggest writing in google doc before making in the sandbox)
Idea
Under Idea you will put what your level is about like, "a world where gravity is lowered and platforming is commonly needed to get around"
help
Under help you put things that you should look at if confused, what i put here is
http://backrooms-wiki.wikidot.com/the-list-of-overdone-ideas
http://backrooms-wiki.wikidot.com/the-backrooms-tone
http://backrooms-wiki.wikidot.com/writing-tips
http://backrooms-wiki.wikidot.com/how-to-write-a-level
What will Always be there
Under this you will put very common things that will be seen for everybody, (i suggest only using if things change depending on the person)
Measurements
Under this you put the "Measurements" of the level
"Insert" Height
"Insert" Width
"Insert" Length
"Insert" Rooms
You can put other things depending on what the level is about, like for a hotel
"Insert" Floors
Extra Info
Here you just put info that you'd put into a brief summery.
Please collapse long post.
Does anyone here know Raymond lightwood?
We should redesign the home page- the current design is ok, but it could be waaaaay better.
