Entity 66 - "Shocker Ghoul"
rating: +14+x

Entity Number: 66

Habitat(s): - Shocker Ghouls are conceived at level Level 89, and can be found in nearby levels, however, there there is nothing stopping them from moving to further levels. Because of that, you can run into one of them on any level that humans, animals, other entities with nervous systems or even some machines can access, but they are extremely rare.

Creation:

Shocker Ghouls are created by fusing either an1 with a Shocker on Level 89. When combined, they will result in a Shocker Ghoul that will resemble the host it was fused with. If the host is too weak or unsuitable to form a Shocker Ghouls, like bugs, light bulbs, low voltage batteries etc. the host will simply explode, freeing the Shocker.

Description:

Shocker Ghouls look almost exactly like the host that they possessed, but every open wound glows brightly yellow. Most veins and arteries also emit light, but to a lesser extent. If the host is an electrical object, it will not show any apparent differences from the host object.

Behaviors:

Shocker Ghouls act almost exactly like their host, but generally speaking they are a little more aggressive than them.

Stages of Development:

Shocker Ghouls go through many stages of development. The looks of the entities change very gradually, and the aspects that change the most are their abilities. The following stages of development specifically apply to human Shocker Ghouls, but it's very likely that a similar process also occurs in biological hosts of other species.

  • "Stage 0" - That stage happens right after the host has been fused with a Shocker. At this point, the host's entire consciousness will be erased, but the host's body will remain working properly. At this stage, the Shocker will forcibly replace the host's consciousness with its own and take control of its body, but because of the over-stimulation the Shocker causes, the body will fall unconscious.
  • * "Stage 1" - After 5 to 10 minutes, the Entity will slowly wake up and flop around randomly while producing distorted screams. It's thought that this is because Shockers don't naturally know how to control biological entities. At this stage, veins and arteries will start to glow, as well as some of its scars. This stage lasts about one day.

An Anonymous user also sent a recording of the previously mentioned scream:

  • * "Stage 2" - After some time, Stage 2 will begin. At this stage, the Shocker Ghoul will slowly try to move, but its walk looks more like that of a stereotypical Zombie than that of a normal human. In this stage, the Shocker Ghoul will gain access to some of host's memories. It will also change the internal structure of the body, mainly the parts concerned with the body's metabolism. This stage lasts about two weeks.
  • * "Stage 3" - At this stage Shocker Ghouls will gain total control over the body and all of the host's memories. It will develop a metabolism system that allows them to gain sustenance from electric currents. Because of their tarnished memories, Shocker Ghouls are very likely to have mental issues, such as identity crises. This leads to constant irritation and a short temper. It will also gain the ability to control the electricity around it withing a 1-2 meter radius. It will also passively distort any visual media recording it.
  • * "Stage Ω" - This is the last stage of development. At this stage Shocker Ghouls can get stronger by remotely consuming energy from their surroundings. As they gain more power, they begin to shine ever brighter than before. The full potential strength of the entity is unknown.

Biology:

Depends entirely on the biology of the host.

Discovery:

It is unknown how Shocker Ghouls were originally discovered, as they are extremely rare. The earliest modern report of the Shocker Ghoul was when an anonymous explorer took a picture of one.

Additional Info:

Shocker Ghouls should be considered dangerous, and treated with caution. They are usually more dangerous the host they resemble. They have a short temper and should not be interacted with, so as to not annoy or irritate them.

Do's and Don'ts:

Do:

  • If you see Shocker Ghoul, turn around and walk (do not run) in opposite direction.
  • If you are asked for help by a Shocker Ghoul, help it.
  • if Shocker Ghoul is friendly, you should accompany it. They can be very heplful, and it is advised to get one on your side if you don't have any other options. However, be careful with them, as they are emotionally unstable and have a short temper.

Don't:

  • Don't try to attack a Shocker Ghoul.
  • Don't betray a Shocker Ghoul you are accompanying it. It will not rest until you are dead.
